ON THE DEATH OF MRS. EDWARDS.
[signed] A Country Friend and Customer.
Why all this solemn pomp of woe,
This dismal melancholy shew,
That rouses all my fears?
What mean those piercing doleful cries,
Those little, tender, weeping eyes,
Drown'd in a flood of tears?
